Looking Back to Go Forward: PennyFix Grants by State (Part 2)
Last week, we shared the first half of our state-by-state grant recipients. This week, we’re sharing the rest—because the story of progress is happening everywhere, and we want you to be able to find your state and see the organizations PennyFix has supported so far.
As a reminder:
We haven’t awarded grants in Alaska, Hawaii, or Wyoming yet—not because they aren’t needed, but because we haven’t heard from organizations there yet. We want to change that this year.
Some states have more recipients than others. Such as Pennsylvania is where PennyFix started, and that’s where our network grew first. Growth spreads outward—one connection at a time.
And yes—some folks are cautious at first. We’ve heard, “Is this real?” more than once. We understand! (Also: if you ask a scammer if they’re scamming you, they’re probably going to say no. 😄) We welcome questions and verification—trust matters.

PennyFix is still a small, volunteer-run effort. We’re everyday people with full-time jobs who saw a problem and built a practical solution. That means we move as quickly as we can, but growth is still human-sized.
Right now, we’re operating on donations alone, and we’re actively working to get the pet industry to sign on so we can accelerate our impact. Participating businesses means more funding, more grants, and faster change.
